Colorfly has released its advanced HiFi in-ear monitors, the Colorfly Quintet. Equipped with a powerful five-driver hybrid setup consisting of one 9.5mm titanium-plated diaphragm dynamic driver unit and four balanced armature units, the pair provides unmatchable performance with ultimate clarity and precision.
Titanium-Plated Diaphragm Dynamic Driver Unit
The Colorfly Quintet features a 9.5mm dynamic driver unit with titanium-plated diaphragm material. Its back is covered with a large black copper coil and a powerful magnetic block that allows for the swift movement of the coil and hence produces a fast, punchy bass response that leaves its impact with every single drop.
Four High-Performance Balanced Armature Units
The impactful DD unit is paired with four high-performance balanced armature units. Two units produce High and Ultra-High frequency response with smooth detailing and extend up to 40kHz that is about twice the effective human listening range. Two BA units provide excellent transient mid to high-frequency response.
3-Way Frequency Division
The drivers are arranged in a three-way electronic frequency division to overcome any multi-driver interference or distortion issues. Users are greeted with a clean & smooth sound output with high-resolution clarity and detailing.
3D-Printed Skin-Friendly Ear Shells
Colorfly has crafted the ear shells in Quintet using high-precision 3D printing technology. They are made up of skin-friendly resin material that effectively suppresses the resonance of the sound cavity. It has a built-in pneumatic control channel that instantly balances the airflow in the sound cavity and ear canal resulting in a finely textured acoustic performance. The earpieces have brilliant-looking carbon fiber face panels.
